Josh Cornier joined the ACLU of Missouri as the Development Associate in June 2019. He assists the Development Director with donor relations and research, support for donor cultivation and stewardship, database support, mail campaigns, annual giving days, and the production of donor-related information for publications and electronic communications. He also provides support for organizations engaged with fundraising for the ACLU of Missouri.
He comes to the ACLU after serving as the Assistant to the Executive Coordinator at Build the Future Education Collaborative (now Freire Schools Collaborative) in Philadelphia and a Writing Center Consultant at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. At Build the Future, he used QGiv to design the infrastructure for general, event, and sponsorship tiers; provided support for donor stewardship; and conducted research on individual, corporate, and foundation prospects to support fundraising efforts. At the University of Alabama, he worked one-on-one with a diverse population of students at all levels of experience and disciplines to improve their writing skills and confidence.
Josh spends his free time helping others research their passions and photographing people and pets in St. Louis.
