Shontaia (Shon) Riley has served on the board of the ACLU of Missouri for several years in various capacities, including as Vice President, Affiliate Equity Officer, and the affiliate’s National Board Representative. She was born and raised in St. Louis and has a deep commitment to and personal investment in the cause of protecting and promoting civil liberties for all Missourians, particularly those of marginalized groups and identities, who are most often the subjects of unequal treatment under the law, government overreach, and institutional oppression.
Shon graduated from St. Louis University School of Law where she received her Juris Doctorate and Health Law Certificate. She lives in St. Louis with her spouse and their dog and works in the field of healthcare compliance.
