ACLU-MO, in partnership with a new grassroots coalition working to Decriminalize Sex Work in Missouri, seeks two part-time campaign organizers to serve as short-term, contracted survey collectors between Aug 10 and Aug 31. Ideal candidates will be based in and have strong connections to people and organizations in Kansas City/Jackson County, MO and/or St. Louis, MO (City and County).

Position Responsibilities:

  • Conduct 25+ phone, video (zoom, skype), or text/messenger based interviews (from home, etc.)
  • Paid by the number of distinct interviews (survey forms) completed. $40/ interview.

Qualifications:

  • Able to use a phone and computer and video conferencing technology.
  • Have access to the internet.
  • Able to input answers in the correct question fields on the form.
  • Personable & with a sex-positive attitude

Payment:

$40/interview, paid bi-weekly [25 surveys = $1,000, 50=$2000], Max 50 interviews Payment Schedule:

$150 following 2 Onboarding trainings & first 2 surveys complete

$75 payment after first 10 surveys

$75 payment after first 20 surveys

$150 Closing Bonus [upon completion of 25+ interviews]

 

Otherwise, position will receive pay bi-weekly on Fridays, according to # of completed surveys as of Thursday that week at 6:00 p.m. CDT.

**Individuals who have previously engaged in sex work, are trans/non-binary/LGBTQOIA+ or have personal experience in the criminal justice system are highly encouraged to apply.
