Johnda Boyce (she/her/hers) is an attorney and activist in Kansas City. She holds a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies from Southeast Missouri State University, an M.A. in Women’s Studies from The Ohio State University, and a J.D. from the University of Arizona. She has served as a staff attorney at Heartland Center for Jobs and Freedom, Legal Aid of Western Missouri, and Legal Services of Southern Missouri. Her work focuses on the intersection of law and poverty, and LGBTQ+ issues, including trans ID/document corrections.
