Internship dates: January 26th – April 24th (13 weeks, with flexibility for student schedules)
Applications Due: Friday, October 31st by 5pm CT
Interviews held: November 10th – November 20th
Decisions by: Tuesday, November 25th
Internships are unpaid, volunteer positions; however, course credit will be accommodated. If you are interested in school credit, please let us know in your application materials.
The Spring Internship is best suited for undergraduate students and will typically require no more than 10 hours/week, depending on legislative hearings. This internship can be completed virtually, with opportunity for some in-person events or participation.
Potential Duties
- Participate in bill tracking, hearing prep, and legislative communications throughout Missouri’s 2026 Legislative Session
- Design public outreach and education materials
- Draft legislative analysis, fact sheets, and other lobbying tools
- Participate in ACLU of Missouri’s 2026 Lobby Day, or related policy events
- Create an independent project focused on ACLU issues
- Support Policy & Campaigns projects, as needed
