Gary brings more than 30 years of strategic communications and management experience to the ACLU of Missouri board of trustees.
Since 2007, Gary has served as president and chief operating officer of YourTel America, Inc., based in Kansas City, Mo. Gary previously held several senior-level management positions, including chief operating officer with Union Station Kansas City, vice president of sales for Aerial Communications (now T-Mobile) and area vice president of sales and distribution at OneComm (now Nextel). Prior to joining OneComm, Gary led sales and marketing teams at a McCaw joint venture in Hong Kong, McCaw Cellular One, Phoenix Communications and Xerox.
A Vietnam War veteran, Gary served in the United States Air Force from 1966 to 1970. He continues his legacy of service on the boards of DeLaSalle Education Center as board chair; Belton Regional Medical Center; KC Metro Cares Mentoring Movement - Treasurer; and MINDDRIVE.
Gary graduated from the University of Nebraska Omaha with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in 1972. He received additional accounting and finance training from the Wharton School of Business.
