Martha Jalali Rabbani is a faculty at the Peace and Conflict Studies at the University of Kansas. She holds bachelor's and master's degrees in Education and a doctorate degree in Humanities. Dr. Rabbani has authored several articles, book chapters and two books: Education for World Citizenship, published by the Autonomous University of Mexico, and The Development and Antidevelopment Debate, published by Routledge. Her teaching and research are in peace education, global democracy and world citizenship. In 2013 she co-founded the Social Justice Initiative, an organization dedicated to the education of children and youth on social justice issues (www.sjcinitiative.org).
