As owner and president of RW Waugh, Inc., Robert has dedicated his career to developing a client-focused firm. He worked for local investment advisory and insurance firms before realizing the impact he could make in the lives of his clients through his own private firm.  Since 1991, Robert has been working as a fiduciary to build and manage the retirement plans of his clients in a way that puts their wants and needs first. 

Robert has been in the financial services industry for more than 30 years, and specializes in comprehensive retirement planning. After earning a Bachelor of Arts degree from Saint Louis University in Political Science, Robert attained a Master of Public Policy Administration degree from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.  A life-long learner, he became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM professional through the College of Financial Planning in Denver.  He also holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses.  

Outside of the office, Bob is a member of the Financial Services Institute.  He is a Past President of the Saint Louis University Arts and Sciences Alumni Association and of the St. Louis Chapter of the International Association of Financial Planning, a precursor organization to today's Financial Planning Association.  He is an avid opera enthusiast, and enjoys classical music.  He also enjoys racquetball and spending time in Santa Fe where he has a second residence.
