The ACLU of Eastern Missouri represents Jacqueline Gray in her challenge to the City of Valley Park ordinances that regulate immigration. Despite the state court finding that their housing and business ordinances were unconstitutional, the City of Valley Park enacted new versions of both ordinances. The ACLU's challenge, filed again on behalf of Jacqueline Gray, was removed by the City to federal court. After the motion for preliminary injunction was fully briefed, the City decided to repeal its ordinance relating to housing. The case continues, however, in the ACLU's challenge to the business-related ordinance.
