The ACLU-EM is representing Stephanie Michael, a resident of Robinwood West Community Improvement District, who is seeking documents maintained by the Robinwood West Community Improvement District through the Missouri Sunshine Law.
Michael is concerned with pool-safety issues, as well as what she views as wasteful spending and lack of control and accounting procedures related to the operation of the pool and was trying to obtain contact information so she could share her concerns with members of the pool.
In a lawsuit filed Nov. 20, 2012, Michael is asking for the records to be made public, and that the court find the defendant guilty of violating the Sunshine Law.
