Strake v. Robinwood West Community Improvement District

In November 2012, John P. Strake sought public records from Robinwood West Community Improvement District (RWCID) under the Missouri Sunshine Law. When RWCID refused to turn over the requested documents, Strake filed a lawsuit.

Strake appealed from the trial court's failure to find that RWCID knowingly or purposely violated the Sunshine Law and the Court of Appeals, Eastern District affirmed on Jan. 13, 2015.

On April 28, 2015, the Missouri Court of Appeals sustained Strake's application for transfer and oral arguments will be heard at 9 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 10, 2015.
